Class of 2029- 9th Grade
Restricted period — coaches cannot initiate recruiting contact
Any time Athletes may contact coaches at any point — no restrictions on recruits
Any time Unofficial visits (self-funded) permitted — no restrictions at any grade level
Dec 23 – Jan 1 Dead period — no contact of any kind
Class of 2027- 11th Grade
Peak communication window — most offers extended this year
Any time Unofficial visits (self-funded) permitted year-round — no restrictions
★ Aug 1 ★ Official visits (school-funded) permitted — up to 5 total across all schools
Dec 23 – Jan 1 Dead period — no contact, no visits of any kind
Jan 1 onward Contact period resumes
Class of 2028- 10th Grade
Key unlock: June 15 after sophomore year
Any time Athletes may contact coaches — email, call, or visit
Any time Unofficial visits (self-funded) permitted at any time — no coach involvement required
★ June 15 ★ DI/DII coaches may now send recruiting materials and contact recruits directly
June 15 onward Contact period opens — calls, texts, emails from coaches permitted
Dec 23 – Jan 1 Dead period — no contact of any kind
Class of 2026- 12th Grade
NLI signing windows — commit and enroll
Before NLI signing Official visits must be completed before signing NLI — not permitted after
★ Nov 10–13 ★ Fall NLI signing period — earliest date to sign a National Letter of Intent
Dec 23 – Jan 1 Dead period — no contact, no visits of any kind J
Jan 1 Contact period resumes
Jan onward Official visits may continue until NLI is signed (5-visit limit across all schools)
★ Mar 1 – Apr 2 ★ Spring NLI signing period opens
May 1 NCAA Eligibility Center — final academic certification deadline for fall enrollment
